In the supplier front view, the outer ends sit higher than the inner corners near the bridge. The lens opening has a straighter upper section and angled sides, with rounded transitions rather than a sharp triangular tip. Describing those features is more informative than assuming every cat-eye frame has the same exaggerated upsweep.

When comparing this reference with another black frame, align the bridges in the photographs and look at where the outer corners finish. That reveals the change in line more clearly than comparing overall darkness or a brand label.
